Are the Museums handicap accessible?

The Koochiching Museums are handicap accessible and we have a wheelchair or walker available for use upon request. For more information or if you have other needs, please feel free to contact us. 

What is the cost of admission?

Admission prices vary, but adults are $5. This price covers both the historic and Bronko Nagurski museums. We do not offer any individual discounts at this time. You can view full pricing information by visiting our Contact page.

Do you offer group tour discounts?

Group tours and discounts are available upon request. Please be sure to contact us before hand so that we may accommodate you accordingly. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounts. 

Is photography allowed in the Museums?

Museum visitors are encouraged to take non-flash photography inside the museum! If you use social media, please be sure to tag us using the hashtag #koochichingmuseums and #iceboxofthenation! We love your photos! 

Are pets allowed in the Museums?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets or emotional support animals within our facility at this time. We do, however, welcome service dogs.  

Is parking available at the museum?

Parking is available on the street next to the museum as well as on the west side of the "Sheeter" building of Packaging Corporation of America. These spaces are clearly marked with "Museum Parking Only" signs. 

Will there be a tour guide?

For the most part, our museums are self-guided, but having a guided tour experience is always available for no additional charge! Your museum experience can be custom tailored to meet your needs so you get the most out of your visit with us.
