About The Event
Koochiching County is rich in logging history, with a primary industry built around paper and the demand for trees an ever increasing call. Join us as we dive into the complicated ins and outs, the backroom deals, the lies, the deception, and the crazy work hours of this amazing industry; as well as the hardships the lumberjacks themselves faced. The life of a jack was dangerous, difficult, and oftentimes deadly.
This year History on Tap will be a little bit different. We will have 25 tickets available--pay in advance and refunds will be available should the state mandate that bars close again. The program will be operating under the state mandates and we will be hosting LESS than the 50% guidelines to ensure that everyone has more than enough space. We do request that masks are to be worn into the establishment; hand sanitizer will be provided and we will have disposable masks for anyone who needs one.
