The Koochiching County Historical Society is pleased to invite you to our first ever gala event! Join us on August 5, 2022 at Backus Community Center auditiorium, as we celebrate history and enjoy each other's company. Ticket price includes a plated dinner and an exclusive concert with "The Church of Cash", a Johnny Cash Tribute band. We will have silent auction items available for bidding, as well as a raffle. 

Attire is semi-formal. We encourage you to come "dressed to impress", but we also want you to be comfortable. This is NOT a black-tie event; althought suits and dresses are  highly encouraged. Come dressed like you're going to prom! (But please, we want you to have fun and wear what's best for you!) 

All funds raised from this event will be used to fund our desperately needed new roof! Any remaining funds after the completion of the project will be split evenly between our General Endowment and our new, "Building Stabilization and Maintenance" Fund. Both of these funds insure that the society will be able to continue to function and maintain their structures in perpetuity.
